Iran’s 'You're Still Here’ to vie at US fest

Directed by Katayoun Parmar and Mohammad Rouhbakhsh, Iranian short film ‘You're Still Here’ has been selected to compete at the 14th edition of the Taos Shortz Film Festival in the US.

‘You Are Still Here’ tells the story of a young couple. Their matrimonial life is on the verge of collapse due to the sudden blindness of the man, but they try to hold on to their past to save their life.

 “We are all alike in the dark”, a brief synopsis to the film reads.

Some of the cast members are Keyvan Parmar, Masoumeh Beigi, Mohsen Mohamadpour and Ara Ashour.

The Taos fest allows filmmakers to come together from around the world and showcase their works.

They can also participate in workshops and panels and meet producers and distributors.

The fest selects short films with engaging subject matters and technical excellence.

This edition of the fest is slated for March 20-22, 2020.
